- Contains 25% concentrated TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) + Salicylic 5%
- TCA works by denaturing the keratin proteins in the skin, creating a controlled damaged that prompts the skin to peel and for new skin cells to regenerate.
- Salicylic acid has been proven in many studies to reduce the appearance of acne by softening keratin, the protein that holds skin together.

I have syringoma under both eyes (the dreaded eye-bag area 😩). The clusters are small but noticeable—and under makeup, they’re magnified. I went to a dermatologist hoping for removal options, but she said there was nothing to be done. I wasn’t satisfied with that answer, so after lots of research, I decided to try the Perfect Image TCA 25% peel.
Shipping was fast, and I used it the same day it arrived. I also ordered their cleanser and used it beforehand—it’s excellent and I’ll probably switch to it permanently. As for the peel: WOW. I followed the instructions exactly and felt a mild, tolerable burn (which I assume is normal). I left it on for about 30–40 seconds before rinsing, then applied a post-peel moisturizer.
The next morning, I was stunned. The syringoma clusters were dramatically reduced—still there, but flatter and far less visible. Even with makeup, they barely showed, compared to before when they were obvious. I’m honestly amazed.
This peel definitely isn’t for beginners, but if you’re patient, careful, and follow directions, it can make a real difference. This was after just one use!

This is the first time that I have ordered a TCA peel from this company. I have been doing my at home peels for years now. This was listed on the website as a medium peel, I would not say it is a medium peel for me. I would say it was a light peel. I did microderma abrasion prior to applying the peel, and I put four coats of this peel on. I kept checking for frosting which was only alittle bit around my mouth, which I then neutralized the peel. It took about 3 days for my face to peel but my face was only lightly peeling for a total of 5 days.
I was hoping for a moderate peel. My goal was to lighten my sun spots on my cheek bones and brighten up my skin after the sun exposure from this summer. I do wear 50 SPF sunscreen in the summer and always wear a hat. In the winter I use 30 SPF. I plan on doing 2 more peels. I'm not sure if I will use this peel for the next 2 peels?
Tips & Information
Before applying, read accompanying procedure.
A patch test on a small area near the treatment area, should be performed before the actual peel. See package insert for details.
Chemical peel may be layered to increase penetration and create a deeper exfoliating effect.
Store at room temperature 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). Keep bottle tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Application
Step 1
Cleanse the skin with warm water or a mild cleanser. Repeat. Allow skin to air dry.
Optional: Apply an isopropyl alcohol prep pad to treatment area to degrease the skin and remove any oils, dirt, or impurities. Do not use alcohol prep pad if you have sensitive skin.
Step 2
Initial application: Apply peel using a gauze or cotton pad evenly across treatment area using circular motions. Allow peel to work on the skin for 1 min or less.
Contact time and/or number of layers on subsequent treatments may be increased with tolerance.
Step 3
Begin to stop activity and remove peel by flushing with cool water.
Warnings
- Do not apply to other areas in which you have used hair removal products in the last 2 days.
- Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with large amounts of cool tap water.
- Do not apply to sensitive skin areas or open wounds.
- The results for each person will vary depending on skin sensitivity, contact time, number of layers, and skin density.
- Applying the peel more than once per week will increase the risk of skin sensitivity.
- Do not tan 1 week prior and 2 weeks after treatment as this can potentially cause unwanted skin discoloration, excessive redness, or rash.
- You will experience a stinging or tingling sensation. If excessive stinging or discomfort occurs, neutralize the peel by flushing the skin with cool water.
- Redness may occur for a short period of time, especially for those with sensitive skin types. If redness persists longer than 20-30 minutes, decrease the contact time of the peel or discontinue use.
- Not every person will experience visible peeling, this does not mean the peel is not working. You will see improved marks in texture, tone, and overall appearance of the skin.
- Excessive facial irritation or redness occurs 48-72 hours after application
- Chest pain, faintness, or dizziness occurs
- You experience pain, swelling, or severe burns
- You experience an allergic reaction
- Your skin becomes infected
- If swallowed, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center Immediately
- Avoid using self-tanners, masks, scrubs or exfoliating agents for at least 48 hours prior to the peel.
- Stop AHA, BHA, and Vitamin A topical products 2 days before the peel.
- Do not wax or shave facial hair for 2 days before the peel.
- Notify us or your regular doctor if you have a history of cold sores, fever blisters or herpes outbreak anywhere on the face prior to the application.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 1 week prior to the peel and week after. We recommended not to tan at all because your skin will be more sensitive to light and tanning accelerates the aging process.
- You currently take Accutane (isotretinoin) or have within the past 6 months
- You are pregnant or lactating
- Have a tendency to keloid (Scar)
- Have Herpes Simplex (Sexual Transmitted Disease) – you will be more prone to infection
- You are HIV positive or have AIDS
- Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
- You do not fully understand the procedure and are not willing to accept the risk, disclaimer, and limitations involved in the healing process
- You are not realistic in expectations
