Strong and effective peel that made my skin feel so soft and smooth. I worked up to using the 25% slowly by diluting it 1:1 with water. My skin peeled a bit but it was manageable. Will continue to use.

I have been using Perfect Image Peels for years and started with the thirty percent glycolic acid peel. I experienced quite a bit of peeling on my face and upper arms at first. Then I moved up to glycolic acid and lactic acid 50 percent and the revitaboost peel pads. I do not experience as much visual peeling anymore except with the revitaboost because of the tca in it. I pretty much stuck with the Perfect Image glycolic acid and lactic acid peels I bought on amazon but seemed to reach a plateau in my skin, especially where it is thicker. I even tried another brand that was a little cheaper of 70 percent glycolic acid and it was much weaker than the Perfect Image 50 percent glycolic acid. Maybe it was mixed with too many moisturizers to be very effective, not sure. I immediately went back to Perfect Image and it was a night and day difference! I could feel that beautiful burn one would expect with a powerful peel yet not hurting! I have never looked back! I buy all my peels from them.
The glycolic and lactic acid are excellent peels especially for your face and for beginners but trying to get rid of some damage deeper in the layers of my elephant skin. This is where tca comes in. Tca has helped to improve the texture of my skin. I still have visible scars but I will keep using it. People think I'm younger than my ahe by 10 years. I believe it's because my skin is bright and fresh looking, even with my acne scarring. I've used it for about 2 years now and I'm so glad I started when I did. I wish I had started sooner.
Tips & Information
Before applying, read accompanying procedure.
A patch test on a small area near the treatment area, should be performed before the actual peel. See package insert for details.
Chemical peel may be layered to increase penetration and create a deeper exfoliating effect.
Store at room temperature 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). Keep bottle tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Application
Step 1
Cleanse the skin with warm water or a mild cleanser. Repeat. Allow skin to air dry.
Optional: Apply an isopropyl alcohol prep pad to treatment area to degrease the skin and remove any oils, dirt, or impurities. Do not use alcohol prep pad if you have sensitive skin.
Step 2
Initial application: Apply peel using a gauze or cotton pad evenly across treatment area using circular motions. Allow peel to work on the skin for 1 min or less.
Contact time and/or number of layers on subsequent treatments may be increased with tolerance.
Step 3
Begin to stop activity and remove peel by flushing with cool water.
